Answer:
The income is usually a tiny different. Typically, retail pharmacists will make more than hospital pharmacists. But hospital pharmacists have a tiny more prestige. I'd state retail pharmacists start out around $110,000 and hospital pharmacists begin out around $85,000. They both have pros/cons depending on what you like. Hospital pharmacies are often understaffed, and might require pharmacists to work overnight shifts or weekends occasionally. Retail pharmacists have a much more normal schedule. Some think that retail pharmacy is really boring, and hospital pharmacies are more dynamic and exciting. However, hospital pharmacies rarely get to interact with the patient, but retail pharmacists have more interaction/dialogue with the patient. I hope this helps!
