what are the ideal type of diet pills to take if you are on meds for high blood pressure? I take atenolol and dyazide.
Answer:
Diet pills tend to be central nervous system stimulants - and those are notorious for mixing VERY badly with high blood pressure medications.
When I was in the cardiology department (doing statistics research) all of the doctors suggested the weight watchers program for weight loss.
When my father had his 5 by-passes, thats what his doctors suggested to him - and my dad lost 70 pounds following it (and has kept it off for nearly 20 years now) - and if an ornery bull-headed, stick-of-butter-a-day-eating, steak-loving 60 year old can follow it, anyone can…
That and some brisk walking a day are what I would suggest, not a medication that has the potential to harm you.
Answer:
I concur with the first answer. There’s not one diet pill out there that’s good for you. If you’re concerned about weight then try portioning your food and drinking plenty of water. Exercise daily. Talk to your physician about what he suggests for you. Good Luck
Answer:
Try getting some exercise each day and eating a good diet of fruit and vegetables instead of diet pills. There are none that are good for you.
