This day i noticed some pain after brushing my teeth. I touched it with my index finger so i could see where the pain was and im not sure but i might have felt a point or maybe it was the opening part of my gum. I then looked in the mirror and i could see my gum open with a lil white tip. I'm not sure if its really a white tip though i couldn;t tell. I;m 14 right nwo turning 15 in a month is it possible for me to have it? Could it just be an infection or a cut from brushing my teeth? If it is a wisdom tooth can i just leave it there and not take it out? My last question if i take it out when does it start hurting during the procedure or after its all done.

Answer:
Sounds like your wisdom tooth. It will eventually break thru the gums and if not you’ll still get them removed. Wisdom teeth don't have to be removed if you’ve enough room in your mouth for them and they don't get infected or cavities in them.

They put you to sleep for the procedure and especially if you have more than one taken out and yes you’ll feel some pain after the Novocaine wears off, but nothing that some pain killers won't get rid of. You also just follow the physicians order and you will be fine.

I had all four of mine taken out and so did my Sister. She has hers out at 17 and I had mine out at 19 almost 20 years old. Hers were impacted meaning they hadn't came thru yet, but mine came thru straight and all the ay thru. It really isn’t bad at all and don't let anyone scare you. I’ve had a lot of work done on my teeth- root canals, root planing, crowns, fillings, my wisdom teeth removed and one molar, infected tooth a few times, etc. It is all fine.

Answer:
It probably is a wisdom tooth, especially if it's near the back of your mouth. Wisdom teeth usually feel/look like cold sores when they first come in. They also feel kind of like a bruise. It's very common for a 15 year old to begin getting their wisdom teeth in.
If it is a wisdom tooth, you might want to speak to your dentist about it. He will most likely give you an x-ray to find out if they're coming in straight or crooked. If they're coming in straight, then you can probably leave them in, but most people need to get theirs taken out.

Answer:
its possible that it is a wisdom tooth, but to be sure you should visit a dentist.

And i've heard its very painful before and after getting them removed, but the pain you will suffer the rest of your life from the wisdom teeth crowding and pushing all the rest of your teeth will be FAAAAR greater!
