How can I make them stop making fun of my cold sore?

So I was kind of sick this weekend, and I got this awful cold sore on my lip. I tried everything, even the toothpaste didn't work. I stuck the tip of a needle in to the sore and drained it, but now there's visible dried blood under my lip. All of the kids I know make fun of it and state I have crap on my lip. What can I do to make them stop making fun of me, and how can I get rid of it?

First of all NEVER drain a cold sore, I get sick a lot and get cold sores a lot because of it, but my advice is to buy some Abreva. Its kind of expensive(15 dollars for a little bottle) but it will clear up the cold sore in 2-3 days, hope this helped, and about the making fun of you thing, just tell them they’ll get a cold sore eventually and people will be making fun of them!

Buy some L-Lysine vitamins and keep them on hand. These are great for cold sores. When you begin feeling one coming up (the tingling), you can begin taking the L-Lysine and it will lessen the severity of the cold sore or maybe even keep it from coming up at all. They’re sold in the vitamin section of WalMart and all drug stores. I would also advocate keeping something topical on it, like Carmex. I have had a million of these and L-Lysine works best for me over any other prescription or non-prescriptioin medication. I concur, never try to open them up; it will make it worse. As far as people making fun of you, just ignore the idiots. Most people have these at some time in their life. Hang in there, it will go away.

lady… first of all…. never never ever!! stick a needle in any part of your body. that way you’re exposing yourself to real perilous and harmful infections!
ok first of all… cold sores SHOULD clear up within 7 to 10 days. the only thing u can do for it to heal faster is to LEAVE IT… seriously if u keep playing with it you will only irritate the skin over that area. the topical treatments available are only for the pain.
keyword my dear is : Confidence!! it's a damn flippin cold sore, nothing bizzare. u're not the first one to get it and u wont be the last one to. so whenever those kids laugh at you.. either laugh with them to show how confident you are. or just ignore them with a smile. that's the only thing u can do to stop them from making fun of u.

Get Abreva and it should go away in about 2-3 days but u shouldn't have stuck a needle in it because its more vulnerable to bacteria and infections but for the people making fun of u jus tell them they'll get one eventually and laugh it off or ignore them
