i am on unemployment i am senior citizen 56 i am willing to make monthly payments

Answer:
Contact your local state dental society, they might have programs for free or low cost dental care. You’ve find the list:
http://www.ada.org/ada/organizations/sea…

Else, if there is a dental school near your place, they’ll most likely have low cost treatment done by trainees.
http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/programs/sear…

Last not least, visit a few of your local dentists and discuss a plan with them.

Edit: And please don't just take antibiotics, it will only make matters worse. It will hide the symptoms and you will have a bigger problem later on.

Answer:
Call the health department in your city and see if they have a low cost dental clinic. Also try any nearby university dental clinics in their dental school.

Also you could go to the ER, but that’ll cost a mint and no guarantees that they’ll help you much or not. They’ll only get you good enough to be able to be “stable” enough to go home.

You can take an aspirin-type product (aspirin, naproxen or ibupofen) with a tylenol/acetaminophen product. Or get a combination product with both chemicals in one product. The aspirin-type product works on the pain and inflammation at the site and is filtered through the kidneys. The tylenol/acetaminophen works on pain processing at the brain level and is filtered through the liver. Just don't take two aspirin-type products together. Also you can try applying ice or heat, but sometimes that backfires or doesn't work after it gets so bad.

If you’ve a regular dentist have you checked with him or her about making payments?

Answer:
Find a local dental school. Even one that just trains dental hygenists. They usually learn by helping poor people who can't afford a dentist. It is sometimes on a sliding scale basis, based on need and income. A community college / technical college would be a place to start. There are also clinics for uninsured or underinsured on sliding scale for medical needs in your community. Call the dept of social services.

Also, ask on Craigslist if anybody could help you.

Also, call several dental offices and tell them you could make monthly payments and see what they can offer you.

If I was a dentist, and heard about your case, I would be willing to do it very cheap or free.

Answer:
If you’ve been to a physician in the past year you should be able to call them and ask them for a prescription for antibiotics without them seeing you. There’s a few places that have low income clinics too. Here its the wuestoff hospital low income clinic. its only on certain days in a bus here. There’s also a clinic called the hope clinic. that way you can try to get antibiotics to get infection down till you can find a dentist who can help out. the important thing is the infection.
If all else fails try the emergency room.
In the past I couldnt afford a dentist with an abcess. I was eating garlic to lower cholesterol and a piece of the garlic got in the hole of the tooth with the abcess. I was in to much pain to dig it out.
Well it stayed in the hole and the infection pain went away in a day.
the swelling also went down. I found out garlic is considered to have antibiotic properties. Now if I get an abcess I put garlic on it right away.
Definately call around or ask others about low income help in the area your in.
I also found that salt is a good germ killer. the site I found says to make a poultice from baking soda or salt. it draws the infection. remember as kids if we’d sore throats everyone stated to gargle with salt water? same thing.
Good luck hun.

Answer:
Go to the ER! They won't pull your infected tooth, but they’ll give you a MUCH NEEDED antibiotic and pain medication. That’ll at least kill the infection for now and end your suffering. You need medication or it's going to get worse and you can die from this.

Answer:
go to the ER asap.

you can lose part of your face, or even die.
