A few months ago… I was gang raped (awkward…) and they used an open gag to keep my mouth open. I am getting braces, and I know they hold your mouth open. I am worried that it will “bring back” memories or make me have flashbacks. Is there anything I can do?
Answer:
I would go to my doctor or dentist and explain the situation the dentist or doctor can prescribe a sedative to help you through this process.
