Ugh. I’ve a lot of dental work i need to do.
I’ve a cross bite. one of my teeth need to be pulled out. and plus I want my teeth bigger (theyre too small) with help of veneers.
Problem is the one tooth that needs to come out is becoming a problem. I cant even bite down on that side of my mouth without it hurting =(
I dunno what to do. Any ideas?
Answer:
Well I sugest you first get that tooth that’s hurting taken care of. It probably just needs a root canal and crown put on it. Then depending on your bite you can either get vaneers which only cover the front and sides of the tooth or crowns which cap the entire tooth.
If you teeth are in bad shape and weak then crowns are best and will last the longest. Vaneers are superior for those tat have healthier teeth, but just looking to change the appearance.
You need to ask your dentist which is ideal for you after a good exam of your bite. Like with me I would need special made corwns because my bite is off and my teeth are fragile.
Don’t get braces and then have to spend all that money on vaneers or crowns. Save your money for the cosmetic stuff.
It is very expensive no matter who you go to. Crowns usually run anywhere between $500-$1000 per tooth.
Answer:
braces for sure. you are having bite problems and braces will completly change your bite. veneers will only cover and change the look. braces change the way your jaw closes and the way your teeth are positioned in your mouth. your orthodontist will make up a treatment plan for you, and if needed he’ll have you get certain teeth pulled and move the teeth to fill in the gaps. then if you are still unhappy with your teeth then get veneers. i think once everything is in place you’ll be much happier with your smile. hope this helps.
Answer:
You obviously don't even know what veneers are.
You can't put braces over them.
With most veneers they drill the tooth down which ruins them, so don't take such a decisions lightly. Also that means you can't take them off, which you would need to, as braces need to attach to your teeth. But you would have no tooth there if it was ground down anyway.
So all in all….forget the veneers. Get the tooth pulled out. I don't comprehend the problem ?
Answer:
You have to go with braces first.Veneers are cosmetic and they will not take the presure of haveing braces on or getting pulled by them.
