We should speak one on one, through email or something… you and I seem very similar in a lot of ways… you're just 4 years younger than I. (I just turned 18- Just graduated high school.)
I’ve a lot more answers to your question about Christianity, but this thing only lets you answer once, apparently… (I'm new to yahoo!answers)
I’ve been conscious about weight at times in the past (though right now I am completely comfortable with my weight) and I am 5 feet 5 inches
I, personally, weigh 120 pounds. I went to the dr for a well check up recently, and she stated I was in the 40th %ile for weight, 70th for height… or something crazy like that…
and I was like…
“Huh… I wonder why I was so worried back when I was 14 and I was 5' 4'' and weighed 112 lbs?”
High school makes us all self conscious… a relationship with God has helped me, personally, with some of my feelings of inadequacy and confidence issues.
The bottom line is this…
Your Heavenly Dad created you JUST how he wanted you. You were created by Him to be BEAUTIFUL. a BEAUTIFUL daughter of His. Whatever weight you’re at naturally, is what He intended… Whether you feel that you’re too fat or too skinny, you are JUST right.
Now, being healthy is a different issue… If your physician says you’re overweight or underweight, eating healthier and exercising are definitely great choices, as long as you don't go overboard with it.
