Is this sinus infection sickness true?

There's this guy who said he has bad sinus infections and is scheduled to die in a few years because of it… Is this true? Are there any sinus infection diseases?

I'm surprised that they told him he was going to die. Whatever it is should be amenable to antibiotics, surgery something. And it's going to take Years? Sorry but it just doesn't make sense.

I would think that if you get a secondary bacterial infection, there’s always an outside chance that it could be fatal.
But how would I know? I just took an IQ test, and I have an IQ of 42, which evidently is severely retarded, so don't listen to me.
