Answer:
Sometimes it's difficult, but not impossible to figure it out. I had to become a detective to figure mine out. I don't have any medical training, just my personal experiences.

It sounds enjoy it could be something your are breathing. If it was something on your body or your clothes you would probably continue to have symptoms when away from home. Or you could be using a product and the fragrance dissapates after your away from home, and fresh air relieves the symptoms.

Some ideas;
Is your home an apartment or a house?
-If it's an apartment it might be something your neighbor is using or doing, like smoking
The walls don't protect you from odors, and chemicals your neighbor may be using. Airborne odors can enter your apartment through wall sockets of shared walls and attics.

Check for hidden mold, have you recently had any leaks? Or a build up in restroom, or on rug backing, shower curtains or shower doors.
-White vinegar will clean mold off safely. Avoid using harsh chemicals - your throat is already irritated.

Do you’ve home plants that may have develped mold issues?
-Try setting any plants outside for a few days and see if the symptoms disappear. Dust off the leaves of the plants by hosing them down and lwtting them dry throughly.

Log time of day the symptoms start:
Are they there the entire time you're in your home?
You may be able to isolate what room the trouble is in.
Are they there when you wake up.
Do they occur within minutes of coming home, hours, or next morning?
Are they worse when cooking dinner?
Do they happen when you use dish soap?
Do they become worse the longer your inside?
or aren't bad until you go to the bedroom.
Are they okay until you lay down, but develop during the night?
Are they worse after a shower, or bath?
Do you’ve symptoms after you brush your teeth?
Are they worse after you apply make-up/deoderant/ or other products?
Do you’ve any foods sitting out on your counter that weren't there a month ago?
Are the symptoms always gone when you're out of your home?

So you’ve pets?
-They might be carrying something inside your home

The coughing might be due to the mucous build up in your sinus draining at night and irritating your throat. Drinking Hot water with lemon juice and honey help break up the mucous and feel good on an irritated throat.

It might be a product you're using, you may have to omit products if the other steps don't give you any relief.

Try washing your bedding in hot water, including your pillow, cold water doesn't kill mites, or get rid of our body oils. Avoid Dryer sheets, there are many chemicals on them, just add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the wash water for a safe fabric softner.

-Try sleeping with your bedroom door shut, getting an air purifier might help too. if the symptoms go away at night then you can isolate it to another room inyour house.

Check out an over the counter product that is not an anti histamine, it's “mucinex”, it breaks down mucous, makes it thin, so the body can get rid of the mucous. It helps the sinusus drain relieving pressure.

Try a saline sinus rinse, Neil Med makes a kit that's available at any drugstore. This might wash out the irritants from your sinus, and relieve the headache.

My Sinus headaches are usually located at the front of the head, forehead, eyes, & nose. When I’ve a serious systemic allergic reaction affecting my body, the headache is more like a migraine, affecting the entire top of my head. The migraine headache is a symptom of an anaphylaxis reaction for me, I seek medical attention. http://www.epipen.com

I’ve dust allergies, and everytime my refrigerator runs if I'm in the kitchen I begin sneezing, and get congested. It took some detective work, but if your patient you can find the irritant.

Answer:
Go see an allergist.
Since you don't have ANY CLUE as to what it is, it's ideal to just get a blood test done or a skin ***** test done.
