The tests I’ve to get are:
HEMATOLOGY - Hematocrit, Hemaglobin, WBC, Granulocytes, Lymphocytes, Eosinophils, and (?)Other(?).
SCREENING CHEMISTRY - Blood sugar, Cholesterol, HDL/LDL, Triglycerides, Creatinine, ALT, GGT, HbA1C.
SEROLOGY - RPR/VDRL, HIV I/II antibody, HepB surface antigen, HepC anitbody.
URINALYSIS - Specific Gravity, Albumin, Sugar, WBC, RBC, Casts
PRE-EMPLOYMENT - Blood Type: ABO, (Rh) D, (weak) Du & G6PD Normal or Deficient?
Answer:
No; these tests are quite specific and none of them include a drug screen. However if your biochemistry results are abnormal , especially the GGT, this can be a sign of either alcohol or drug abuse. If that happens a drug test may be ordered.
Answer:
The people who responded with zero information and apparently to just gain some “points” seriously need to get a LIFE! Report Abuse
Answer:
No they didn't run a drug screen on you with those tests. Those are all basic tests to see if your health is in order and for anti bodies to certain diseases. Odd they did a blood type on you though…
A drug screen should not be done unless they’ve your consent.
Answer:
I don't see anything in what you have written that would test for drugs. It would say what drug they are testing for. Also, they have to tell you that they’re screening you for drugs. Legally, they cannot do drug screening without your permission.
Answer:
More than likely they are going to check for drugs in your system. That's a massive requirement with nearly every company nowadays and if they're doing a test I would think they'll check for drugs even though you wrote the list out.
Answer:
If it's for a job, especially one that asks for THAT much information, then yes.
Answer:
yes they would show up some drugs - depends.
Answer:
yep
