i play basketball and everytime that i play for a while my stomach is like burning real bad and my right side hurts really bad. then whenever im not doing anything, my right side hurts still. i have had this for a while now. the pain goes away and then comes back. my back also hurts really bad at most times. i have been to the doctor before to get blood and urine test checking for diabetes, and my blood was fine but i had a high amount of protein in my urine. i dont know whats wrong and my mom doesnt think its anything serious, is it?? please help!!!


Answer:
You probably have what is known as a “stitch” in your side. It is harmless, and is like a muscle cramp in the leg. People get it when they are very active like running or jumping, or play basketball. Some of your internal organs simply are pulling on the diaphram and causing the pain. Growing kids are most susceptable to it, but adults also get it from time to time, especially when they over do it. If you get this pain when you are not active, I would see a doctor.

Answer:
You could have a kidney stone. The stone is about the size of a grain of rice and will, eventually pass out of your system.

The pain is worse than having a baby…
