everytime i go away i get really homesick i hav a stomach ache and just want to cry.
please help

Take something that reminds you of home (it may have a particular smell, feel, look, sound). For instance, I used to take one of my mother's head scarves because it smelled like her hair and perfume. The olfactory sense is really quite breathtaking, it can make you less homesick than just looking at a picture of your family, friends, etc. (incidentally, that makes me MORE homesick.
FUN FACT: Did you know that the color green can prevent and subdue the physical symptoms of homesickness?

I agree, it's normal, but that doesn't make it any easier. For me, focusing on the moment helped- In other words, keeping my mind on what I was doing, reducing my amount of 'down-time', avoiding isolation, avoiding alcohol (depressant) etc… Try to like yourself- You'll be home soon…
