you can blow your ear drums from the pressure and I also heard if you sneeze too hard you can cause a brain anurism. the best way to sneeze is in a tissue with your mouth open to get all the pressure out of your head and nose.

When you suppress a sneeze that way the pressure that normally gets released when you sneeze has no where to go so it explodes inside you. Eventually, if you keep doing that, it could affect you adversely.
