i am making a website and part of it includes writing a description of how blood flows in and out of the heart.

could you please tell me and also provide where you got the information from.

-Oxygen- poor blood flows from the body to the right atrium.

-The blood then flows from the right atrium into the right ventricle.

-The right ventricle pumps the blood to the lungs, where the blood releases unwanted gases and picks up oxygen.

-The newly oxygen-rich blood returns to the heart and enters the left atrium.

-The blood then flow through the left atrium into the left ventricle.

-The left ventricle pumps the oxygen- rich blood throughout all parts of the body

-And the process is repeated for as long as you live.
