I took Buspar for anxiety and Serzone (an SSRI) for depression. My symptoms are back and after 2 years of CBT I feel it's time for medication. Since I took Serzone when I was younger and it helped ALOT is it safe to say that it would work the same again 10+ years later? Would another SSRI work in the same way? Would I’ve the same side effects I had 10 years ago? I'm nervous about side effects I read about on the web, but when I took the serzone it worked great with tiny side effects

Answer:
all anti-depressants work differently. perhaps zoloft (sertraline) could work for you. i was on celexa but it made me angry. then, dr. put me on zoloft…. it made my anxiety AND depression a lot lighter. now, i don't know what i would do without it!

ask your physician about zoloft!
hope this helps!

when I was 22 they tried to feed me that crap. I said hell na don't need that crap.. I'm still kickin..of course got this crazy twitch from time to time.. oh well.. but that aside.. I wish the best for you. I just know a lot of people are taking things they don't need, pharmaceutical companies have a great way of making people think they need a certain product. good luck..
