i was recently accepted to university of california, berkeley and im gonna be going there next year. all these guys at my highschool ive found out have crushes on me. they state im “hot” and “cute” and all this stuff. i found out from someone who overheard them. and guys try to flirt with me in class now. could it have something to do with getting into a good college? they noticed me now?or whats going on here? maybe it doesnt have to do with it at all, what do u think?

From a guys perspective it could be a few things…
One - You probably are beautiful and have been noticed for some time.
Two - It could just be conincidence that you found this out so late into the school yearand you're getting all this attention now.
Three - Since you’ll be going away, some guys might feel like it's the last chance to let you know how they feel.
Four - the summer is/has approached and now that more people know your going away they feel like it's a win-win to hook up with you because there will be no strings attached.
Just live life. Like highschool isn't hard enough. Whatever your looking for things will fall into place. Enjoy your last year! I'm sure if these many boys like you in highschool, you'll have a field to pick out of in university.
