I Have been taking anti-depressant pills for my Panic Disorders and i want to know if you smoke weed does this cause a chemical imbalance in your brain and will you go crazy and off the deep end if you mix the two.
Answer:
Smokiing weed while taking antidepressants is about he worst thing that you can do. You’re causing the medication to be ineffective, it won't work if you smoke. You should talk to your psychiatrist about medications for Panic Disorders if this is what you’ve been diagnosed with and what you suffer from. A medication for ant-anxiety would be more effective if you have this disorder but not depression. Either way you are causing yourself to suffer without the help of your medication while smoking. I hope you’ll stop this self harm and take care of yourself so that your medications can work for you.
Answer:
Yes. It can also be a cause of depression!
I'm not against smoking a little here and there, but more so as a “vacation”. Not a daily or even weekly event. Otherwise you're going to have lots of problems!
Trust me, the regular smokers you know are loaded with issues and are for the most part just trying to cover them up (not bad people, just bad issues).
Remember, if you’re going to smoke pot regardless, only do it on special occasions, or to take a “vacation” every now and then, you'll be much happier in the long run! And don't think about it all the time, that’ll just bring you down.
Good luck!
Answer:
I take anti-depressants for panic disorder as well. Before I started taking them every time I smoked I would get anxiety. Now, I can smoke with my friends and not worry about my anxiety. I tell my doctor that I smoke and he hasn't said anything to advise me to quit. Remember your mind is a powerful thing and it can react to it differently, but if you think bad things will happen, most likely it will. Try to have a more positive look at it, like things will be more funny, you'll be relaxed and out of reality for a minute.
Answer:
using any type of drug will cause a chemical change in your brain; in most cases, serotonin. for example, marijuana will case an increase in the production of serotonin so when you come down from the high there is a sudden drop which can cause a severe chemical imbalance in your brain and could induce a panic attack or depression. my advice would be to not smoke weed at all and give your anti-depressants a opportunity to control your panic attacks instead of self medicating.
Answer:
Yes, you will probably go off the deep end. Hmmm, something tells me that if you mix a depressant with an anti-depressant that it is a recipe for disaster.
On top of all that….it might give you the munchies.
Answer:
Yes, it is unhealthy to abuse drugs while taking anti-depression drugs. It can be extremely hazardous, so i would stop smoking if i were yo.
Answer:
Yes,most likely if you have fast heart beating and other unsual stuff go to ER and it does effect your meds less.
I drank beer before with my meds and made me kinda of nuts!
Answer:
