Answer:
If you want free or cheap healthcare, at least do the legwork and research on it yourself, for heaven's sakes. That's what everyone else has to do. Open your phone book, get Google up, and starting working.
Answer:
The main things you should look for are doctor's visits, hospital stays, emergency room coverage and what percentage of coverage the insurance offers. Also, see if you can get prescription coverage, as medications can run in excess of $100 per month and up to $1000 or more.
What you need depends on your mom's health condition. If she’s healthy, almost any insurance will do; if she has preexisting conditions, you’ll have to be more selective.
Google “inexpensive health insurance” and do some research as to who offers what coverage to your say. You can also contact your local health or social services department for any programs they sponsor.
Also, you might want to take into account a discount service provider; they are very affordable, but you have to pay the discounted fees at the time of service.
Finally, if your mom is low income, she might qualify for Medicaid and other services your say provides.
