like in movies it means the person is a spaz or stressed out…..is it true?? Or just an awkward muscle spasm
Answer:
Is it bad: 99.9% of the time, no. The muscles of the eyelid are fairly small and delicate. They get fatigued quite quickly. Just as if you worked your biceps at the gym all day they would twitch on their own, the eyelids twitch on their own after a hard day of use. Only in very rare cases involving muscular degeneration are eye twitches a sign of a more hazardous condition.
Is it common: Yes, everybody gets eye twitches. Everybody. When you sleep, the average person experiences 2-4 noticeable eye twitches per hour.
Should you have it checked? Only if you have frequent eye twitches. “Frequent” is defined as more than 2 eye twitches per eye, per hour, or if the twitching occurs in the same eye constantly.
A good optometrist or ophthalmologist can probably relieve your anxiety as to whether you have abnormal twitching or not.
Answer:

Answer:
