Can you get a stomach or headache from wearing contact lenses for too long?

i remember the eye physician saying to throw the lenses out after 2 weeks but i can still see clearly with this pair even after a few weeks. is it still safe to wear them?

ive had a few headaches this week and a gnarly stomachache yesterday and a little bit today, could this be because of the lenses?

nah, your supposed to throw them away when your told to because it will keep them clean and up to par, however i am guilty of wearing contacts a lot longer than i'm supposed to..
but to answer your question, no that has never happened to me

No, the lenses are not safe. There’s reason that contacts have replacement schedules, to protect your eyes.

The headache and (certainly) the stomachache are due to something else.
