Stupid me i have been deciding not to take my contacts off for weeks at a time i know its stupid, but i figured hey ur eye can filter out stuff why not with the contacts. I had been warned. Anyways the way it worked out was at the time i purchased my contacts i didn't buy glasses. Because my eye hurt i couldnt wear contacts and had to order my glasses, thats when i found out i had an ulcer.
Is an eye ulcer considered something perilous? The physician put some yellow chemical in my eye that has blured my vision.

Answer:
As you have found, overwear of contact lenses is the number one cause of ulcerative keratitis (corneal ulcer). Basically, a corneal ulcer is a colony of bacteria that has started growing on your cornea and eating your eye for food. (OUCH). Bacterial corneal ulcers are definitely a serious condition but, if caught relatively early and treated aggressively, they generally respond well and resolve well. The problem is, though, that even though an ulcer might be curable using antibiotics, a scar will ALWAYS be present where the ulcer was. If this scar is in the visual axis, you might have permanent loss in vision even though the ulcer was cured. So, my suggestion to you would be to learn from your mistake and never overwear you lenses again.

As to the yellow chemical blurring your vision, I don't believe this is the case. The yellow chemical is called flourescein and it simply does not have the capability to blur your vision. Either your vision is now blurred because of the ulcer itself or the physician may have instilled a dilating drop to decrease any spasm of the ciliary muscle inside the eye.

Answer:
it is SERIOUS condition!!! it can ended in UVEITIS or even ENDOPHTHALMITIS, which can meake u BLIND. yellow chemical is fluoresein to check ulcer in your eyes or the ulcer has penetrating in to your anterior chamber of eyes.
