I usually get my vision checked at Walmart, and I wear glasses, but I really want contacts. My parents are considering it, and I don't want them to pay a lot. Does anybody know how much they cost at Walmart? Like how much per box, and how long does each box last? Thanks a bunch!

varies by brand/material. the WM doc will charge you a little more for the exam if you get contacts…
2 common brands:
acuvue 2's run like $17/box
o2 optix run about $22/box
a box is 6 lenses, each lens to be worn about 14 times. so a box is a 3 month supply for 1 eye. you'll need 2 boxes each 3 months or so
