I recently got some glasses from Specsavers. Im under sixteen so i got most of the cost paid for me by the NHS. This was around 5-6 months ago. But i somehow lost them recently and my vision seems to be getting worse & i have headaches all the time (presumably from straining my eyes). Will Specsavers replace my glasses for free or what?

no you’ll be issued with a NHS replacement voucher. Seeing as you stated you got most of the cost paid for by the NHS i presume you bought a pair of either children's designer glasses or some from the adult section so you will probably have to pay a small amount towards it. It depends how much the glasses cost.
Alternatively if you dont want the same glasses again, you can select a pair of teenager's glasses which will be free to replace.
Just pop into the store, make sure your with a parent because you need their signature, and they’ll tell you what your options are. But it'l either be free or if you want the same again there will be a small amount to pay.

If you’re under 16 and not yet due for your next examination, you will be issued with an NHS repair/replacement voucher.
Your replacement glasses could be free if you select from their “free with NHS voucher” range, or you may have to pay towards them if they’re outside this range.
