I only think you are crazy if all the dogs are not well cared for and properly vetted. If the dogs are happy, healthy and properly taken care of, then why would you be crazy no matter how many dogs you’ve?
If you just have unhealthy dogs running around in filth then you are crazy, whether you have 1 or 10.

Sometimes two dogs can be too much for some people, and 5 dogs can be too tiny for others. It all depends on how the individual owner.
I have seven dogs, and would probably get a couple more, if I had the time, room, and money for two more.

Having a lot of dogs is only a bad thing if:
1) you can't give each dog the amount of care and personal attention it needs, or
2) it is prohibited by city / county law.
Otherwise, heck you could have 20 and that'd be great.

If you can properly provide food and medical and they don’t disturb neighbors, and yard kept cleaned up, No it is fine but if unable too do all this then it is not fair to the animals. I presently have 4 and city only permits 3 but just found 1 this week . I ran ad and put up signs about. IT is a very small old maltese with tatoo and chip and unable to locate owner Thats my story. *mamatx

I've had that many at a time (well including puppies). I foster. Most adult dogs at one time was 6. If you can care for them and afford them, I state more power to you.
