I know that they say that sleeping on the side is best for baby and to surround yourself in pillows, but I have always slept on my stomach and can't get out of the habit. Isn't the womb protected enough to not harm the nany if I do so? I am 19 wks pregnant. So I am getting a bump now..

Answer:
with my first i slept on my stomach for 5 months:) nothing happened to him he is perfectly healthy. i can't sleep on my tummy anymore because since pregnancy if i do now i have the worst back pains ever so make the most of it while you can just incase you end up with backpains like me

Answer:
it's about to start being really uncomfortable

Answer:
i am 37 weeks and still sleep on my stomach i sleep on my side as well i am also a stomach sleeper… i did the same with my first pregnancy and she is fine….it is perfectly fine to sleep on your stomach if it makes you comfortable…..

Answer:
Wow, at 19 wks you can still sleep on your stomach? I'm jelous. I'm a stomach sleeper too, and well, I'm only 9 weeks and I can't do it anymore. I wake up everytime I go to lay on my stomach because I have this knot right below my belly botton. I have retrain myself for when I'm asleep not to get on my belly so I can get a full nights sleep. I'm insanely jelous! LoL. I'm sure that the baby is fine just make sure that it's not painful to you and your not cramping when you do lay on your belly. Good luck and congrats!

Answer:
well just be sure that your always on a bed, not a hard surface like the floor if you lay on your stumach

its ok as long as you can stand it

but soon it will get too painful for your stumach or breasts to even lay on your stumach

enjoy it while you can

=]

Answer:
I also used to sleep on my stomach all the time…it was the only way I could get to sleep. Although I did have to start to sleep on my side as it started to get quite uncomfortable around 12-14 weeks (early I know), but you get used to the change, it just may take a while.

Good luck for the rest of the pregnancy.

Answer:
most doctors will say sleep on your side while you are pregnant. i slept on my stomach some of the time and the only thing it did was cause him to kick me more :)

Answer:
I read somewhere, you will be uncomfortable faaaarrr before the baby is in danger.

Answer:
It's fine for you to sleep on your stomach for as long as it is comfortable. You'll just notice that soon as your bump gets bigger it will just make it even harder for you to sleep on your stomach. Not just that, but it will just be plain uncomfortable! But other than that there's nothing really wrong with it!

Answer:
In a few weeks it will not even be a option to you. When your tummy gets bigger there isn't any way to sleep like that and not feel horribly sick. After 20 weeks you can't sleep on your back ever until birth, you can compress a veil and cut blood flow. Soon it will be your sides or sleep in the lazy boy sitting up with your feet up on something. I did it last night because my hips are hurting really badly from being on my side, like there's nothing left of them but bone!! Much Luck!

Answer:
I WISH

I have always slept on my belly cant any more to uncomfortable cant sleep on my side it hurts my shoulder

i basically have to sleep slightly sitting up it sux

Answer:
For circulation it's not good to sleep on your back or stomach. Body pillows are the best and can help you adjust your sleeping style until the baby's born.

I am 17 weeks and would not sleep on my stomach.

Answer:
You can depending on how comfortablt you sre doing it. I'm 23 weeks and I do it occasionaly. A good friend of mine did it her whole pregnany it's up to you and what's comfortable for you.

Answer:
I agree with the comments about it being safe, but trust me, it will get uncomfortable! lol

Answer:
you'll not be able to sleep that way much longer nomatter how much you like it ,you can't you won't, so do it while you can

Answer:
noooooo

do you want to kill

the baby

???

you just sleep on your side..

Answer:
you could sleep how ever you like , but they said sleeping on the side is much better for the baby. your not hurting him if you sleep on your stomach.

Answer:
you will know when you are ready to stop sleeping on your tummY!!~It'll start to hurt..

till then..enjoy it!!

because you'll miss it!

I'm a tummy sleeper too and I went nuts..But at the end..you'll forget all about it!!

I promise!(Even though you'd probably think I was lying and want to batter me in a few months!)

Happy Pregnancy!

Answer:
I'm 18 weeks & 2 days & I'm so used to sleepin on my stomach that I often end up on my stomach…I have a big belly now & I try to sleep on my side but it gets unvomfortable…they say you should sleep on your left but when I try I always end up on my stomach

Answer:
