My dog has a small cut on his ear, and when we put him outside for his pee break the flies are attracted to his small cut. Is there anything I could put on his ear so the flies dont get at his ear? He won't keep gauze wrap on, he takes it off.

go to the store and get liquid bandaid. It is a bottle of liquid bandaid that seals cuts and it works great. I use it on my dogs.

I would highly recommend putting a very thick coat of triple anibiotic ointment on it, this will help with the heal process and the flies can not get to it.
