I just got a little baby Syrian hamster and they told me it was a girl, but I just played with her and took her out of her cage, and it is a BOY!!!!! So I need boy hamster names, and I maybe bringing him back today to Petco, so if I get a girl I need girl hamster names. Thanks!!!!! and please no mean comments!!!

give her a nice long name and then call her with her complete name and also call her with her short or nickname. Like for example, my white dwarf's name is Principina, but I also call her Cipina. Or my grey dwarf's name is Sir Alfred Hitchcock, but I also call him Topone. They get used to your voice saying the same words (noises) to them and in a few weeks time they come out running when you call them. I can call Topone from when I enter my home from work and he'll jump out of his den and jump up on it's roof and stand on his hind legs looking for me.

My first guinea pigs name was sesamie. I noticed it was spelled wrong a little late, I am bad at spelling as you can see, but it just gives her name a twist and makes it one-of-a-kind. Maybe you want to try that.

Happend to me too. hamsters are gettin more popular people are keeping the girls to breed and selling the boys so i looked literaly ALL day 8am-9pm for a female and had no luck until I went to “MISSION PETS” I found a hamster I really liked and they said “male” i stated i wanted a girl he went into the other room I asked the sex aagain and they said oh, female so I purchased her and named “her” Brooklyn a couple of weeks Wet tail was going around I checked “her” genitals and WOW i stated to my mom its a male we went and got her sexed within 2 seconds they said male so i changed his name from Brooklyn to Simon I kept the “n” at the end of his name
