well my room is in the basement and that was were my guinea pig was kept so it was very cool for him down there.
i recommend putting a fan on near him or AC (not in his face that will iratate him)
also you can give them cool baths ( cool as in luke warm!) bath meaning just let him sit in a lil tub of cool water.
make sure you brush them well if their longhaired and keep their cage clean bugs can breed in dirty bedding!
also having a ventilated cage such as the ferret type cages the ones with the holes in them keeps in cool.
a cool water bottle under the bedding is NOT a good idea they might chew on it and eat the plastic < (mine did when i tried to warm him up after a bath)
make sure they’ve cold water ( put some ice cubes in the bottle if you can try crushing them to fit!)

if they're in your home and the AC is on, but not too much, then they'll be fine. of course keep fresh water for them, but that's common sense.
