I've been reading about all these ladies who miscarriage on their first pregnancy and about how 1 in 5 pregnancies end up as a miscarriage. . I know I shouldn't but I couldn't help myself =/.
This is my first pregnancy. Please tell me stories of your first pregnancy that didn't end in a miscarriage. . I'd feel a lot superior!
Thanks.

I'm nearly 33 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy). It's been pretty simple on me- so far. I had some spotting and cramping around 6 weeks and was REAL nervous, but everything was fine. We went in for an early scan and saw her heartbeat- if you can see and/or detect a heartbeat, the chances of miscarriage decrease a lot. Try not to stress- easier said than done I know but it doesn't help things at all. Just be healthy- take walks, eat good and drink lots of water. (and by the way I was a smoker and drank probably 2-3 times a week before I found out) and I was nearly 4 weeks pregnant when I found out…quit drinking obviously and smoking and she's a healthy tiny girl so far (and a BIG girl from the ultrasound weights…which I know can be off). Point being- enjoy your pregnancy and try not to worry, nothing you can do now except try to be happy and worry-free and healthy! Congrats!

My baby is yet to be born (32w1d) but she has been a healthy little one so far, and I imagine she'll be fine these last few weeks.
At 7 weeks, you're past the most scary point in your pregnancy–most miscarriages happen before you even know you're pregnant. Have you seen/heard the heartbeat yet? Once you know that cardiac activity is normal, the danger of miscarriage drops to only 5%. Within the next few weeks you should hear the heartbeat at your regular prenatal appointment.
Being scared about this is normal–but plenty of us do have healthy first pregnancies. Rather than viewing it as 1 in 5 ending in miscarriage, try to concentrate on 4 in 5 developing into healthy babies.

I had a very healthy pregnancy with my son he was just a week late that was all though! But with my second I had a miscarriage because of to much stress, also I was only 5 weeks along in the pregnancy. Now I’m pregnant for the third time, so far so good!..
No worry and to tell you from experience please don't read into the horror stories to much! Just relax and stay stress free. No Baby story on TLC, lol……well good luck and congrats!

I had a picture perfect pregnancy with my first (and only) son! I had AWFUL morning sickness but it was still perfect! My son was born 7 days early with NO complications what-so-ever! It's normal to be nervous with your first…for some reason the horror stories stick in your memory rather than the good stories! I even had a fairly swift labor (I was anticipating it to be at least 14 hours!) with no surprises or weird things happening! I wish you the absolute ideal!

I’ll be 7 weeks pregnant on Friday and I am in the same boat as you’re. I read all these stories and it scares me to death. I feel one little cramp and I started thinking negative thoughts. I try not to think about it but its so scary! I go for my first sonogram next Monday so I am excited about that! Good luck to all of you!

Mine was perfect. I barely noticed I was pregnant. Even when I was 10 days over due, I was ready for it to be done but wasn't to bothered.
