Getting married next weekend so we need to board our dog.He just turned one hes a coon hound rotti mix.Where should be board him?In a kennel where he has the ability to go outside when ever he wants. They’ll take him for walks during the day.Or should he come to a doggie daycare where he’ll run around all day with 20 other massive dogs. We’d a one day trial at the doggie daycare he came home so exhausted.

Answer:
Depends if your dog is social or not and most importantly if he's neutered. I personally prefer a kennel, whole day to hang out with other dogs is just a fight waiting to happen. But it's up to you and what you feel is ideal for you dog.

Answer:
Call your vet, it is the ideal place to ever board your dog or dogs, why you ask, the vet is safe, all dogs there have had their shots and are walked and cared for properly .

a vet will not put a sick dog, by a healthy dog, kennels and doggie day cares could care less

and the vets make sure all dogs have had all their shots before boarding them….this is the safest place,

now, Pets Mart also wont allow any one to board their dogs unless they’ve proof of all vaccinations and worming have been done and are up to date…they are also very good to board at….they walk the dogs a lot and make sure they don't stay in cages or kennel runs the entire time.

regular boarding kennels don’t ask for shot records…they just want the money for boarding and don't care about the dogs health at all……

Answer:
Steer clear of the daycare, your dog may have all the shots and be neutered but if they aren't asking who knows about the other dogs that will be spending time with yours.

Answer:
Petsmart is good. I'd ask the vet for a suggestion.
