Answer:
Peeing and pooing everywhere? Do you have pee pads? These little guy's do not know where to go unless they’d pior training or you begain their training now. All of my pups are pad trained. But I’m a small show home not a show kennel or kennel at all. If you bought your pup from a kennel this tiny one isn’t use to the run of the house and may be overwhelmed and missing litter mates and mom. This is fairly normal. Remember the world as they knew it, has just vanished without a trace!!!!!!!!! They need lots of love and to feel safe. You might want to put your pup in a crate located in the living room during the day and in your room beside your bed at night. You let them out for 15min. at a time. The first thing you do is take them to the pee pad. Do this each two hours if you can, until they get the hang of things and know that they’re safe and know one is going to injured them, only love them!!!! No crate? Get a kiddy gate and put them in the kitchen, loo or laundry room with a pee pad. My pups are raised in first a human babies playpen and then a puppy play pen. I start letting them out for short play times at about 6 weeks old. Teaching and playing with them the whole time that they are on the floor. By the time they are 3 months old. they get 4 one hour playtimes. You have to watch them and teach them the whole time. Much like you would a child.. But no matter the age of your pup if you’re not bonding with this tiny one, send it back for all of your sakes. Some breeders let their pups go at 8 weeks. Really 10 weeks should be the youngest that a pup goes to their forever home!!! You could not pay me enough to let one go before the age of 3 months. Do you see all the work that I do to get them ready? We raise Yorkies and would happily take anyone of them back!!! Why, because we love them and would never want them anywhere but the perfect fit!!! If the breeder you purchased this pup from really adores placement and the future of the pups, they’ll return your money and take the pup back!!!
Answer:
Animals in general take several weeks to adjust to a new home. Even if a dog is home trained in its original home it may have accidents when moved to another home. There’s nothing wrong with your puppy. She needs to be trained, and if you can't commit to training, then you might want to reconsider owning her. It can take several months and a lot of patience. Hang in there, I know it can be frustrating cleaning up all the time, but it will get superior if you stick with it and be worth it in the end. If you're not sure about how to housetrain your pup then consider taking puppy classes. Housetraining is usually covered in class and you also get to work on obedience and socialization. Good luck

It takes some time for a puppy to settle in. I just got mine Saturday and yesterday was the first day, she started to calm down a little.
What the other answerers have stated about age is important. Anything below 8 weeks old is too young to go to a new home. If she's not 8 weeks old yet, you need to take her back.
Having a young puppy is like having a newborn baby, I tend to think it's worse even, since diapers are not an option, puppies are more mobile than babies and have sharp little teeth. I haven't had a full night of sleep since Saturday. And they do pee and poop a lot. Mine pees about 14-15 times a day and poops 3 times a day.
She's not my first dog, so I was prepared and yet I still have brief moments of “what have I gotten myself in to?”. It gets superior, though. It's hard, hard work, but the more work you put in at the beginning, the better an adult dog you'll end up with.

Good heavens, you should have read up on puppy ownership before you got the puppy. You are in for months of pee and pooing training, as well as crate training. If you can't handle it, then yes, please return the puppy so she has the ability to find a family who knows what to anticipate. You might do superior getting an older more mature dog who is already housebroken and knows a few general commands. Puppies take months to train and most don't get out of that puppy stage until they are 2 years old. Larger breed dogs it takes even longer. By the way, have you experienced the chewing everything in sight puppy yet? That's always fun.
Answer:
it takes more than 3 days for a new puppy to adjust to its new home. and training that puppy (including housetraining) is going to take a lot more than 3 days. yes you really should have thought about this before buying the puppy. however if you arent willing or are not able to put in the time this puppy needs then the ideal option would be to bring it back to the breeder and let them find it a superior home. good luck and hope this helps
Answer:
You need to know this: Your pup has to go OUTSIDE to pee and try to poo each time she does the following: if she eats, drinks, sleeps for 30 minutes or more, or plays more than twenty minutes. To make potty training fastest, you have to make sure you take the dog far enough away from the door to your home that she has no choice but to eliminate before you get back…don't give up and go in until she goes potty and tell her she did good when you see her going. I learned this because my dog would hold it while we went around the yard walking, and then would promptly pee when we got back in the house. You didn’t say in your post how old she’s. If you take a baby dog home and she is to be a member of the family you need to assume the role of a mama dog. The mama dog trains the pup to do her business outdoors or away from the living quarters. Get a kennel just huge enough for the pup to sleep comfortably in, and keep her in there if you can't watch her EVERY minute. Be ready for trips outside if she cries in the night. She needs to learn that you will take her to the place where she has the ability to go pee and poo when she has to go. I hope the ideal for you and the baby
Answer:
if she’s over 6 weeks (should be at least 8, but 6 is managable, under 6 weeks she needs to go back to mother) spend a lot of time with her and try to get something with her mom smell on it for comfort.
a lot of toys and distractions, a tiny bit of treat now and again and a lot of love. if you do it right she will bond with you and it will be a life time thing.
you also need to train the dog to potty in the right spot. when you see her stating make a loud (not to loud, just sharp) ack! sound, she should stop, then put her where she’s supposed to pee and when she does praise her, pet her, and give her a treat, make it a happy time. she’ll want to concentrate all of her pee and poop in one area naturally, just let her know where and you will have that whipped, with some patience because she’s a baby and it will take a while before she really gets it all the time. never hit or yell at her, just be consistent and keep it up and soon you’ll be rewarded with a happy, potty trained dog.
Answer:
There’s nothing wrong with that poor puppy besides the fact that it has a very ignorant owner. Puppies have to be trained to pee and pooop outside. IT's not instant. I would take the puppy back to the breeder now so the breeder can find a superior home because you obviously don't know what you are doing.
Answer:
If this puppy is over 6 weeks of age, you should do fine with it. I always kennel train my pups. That instructs them to “hold it” and not urinate or poop all over the place. Only feed the pup 2 times a day at the same time every day until it is potty trained. This puts a bathroom schedule in place. To help with the crying try using a stuffed animal in her kennel. They also have some with a heartbeat that is helpful. If the puppy is eating, drinking, and it's stool is normal then it is probably heathy. If it's not doing those things then take it to the vet.
Answer:
How old is your puppy? If she’s less than 8 weeks old, then she most definitely needs to be back with her mom.
Contact the breeder tomorrow morning. Share your concerns. If they’ve an ounce of decency, they will help you through this. If the puppy is, in fact, too young, then they should take her back until she's ready to leave mother.
Good luck ![]()

Answer:
how old is the puppy?
if she is under 6 weeks old then she would need to go back with her mother.
even though a lot of the time puppys have NEVER been away from their mom until you take them home, so i wouldn't worry about it if she is older then 6 weeks, she'll settle over time.
puppys will miss their mothers the first few weeks you have them, maybe not even that long.
just give it time.
GOOD LUCK!
Answer:
what you do is first let your pup sniff around a little and get used to its surroundings P.S. it might go to the bathroom on the floor. next play with it a little and it might go to the restroom again. if she is costantly going take her to a vet it might be serious
i hope this helps if not tell me
Answer:
How old is she? She could be going through transition or she could be too young to be away from her mother. We let one of our Yorkie pups go just before 10 weeks and find that he’s definitely a tiny less socialized. Doing well but still pretty needy. We are keeping the last two until at least 13 weeks. Makes a difference with their transition.
Answer:
Ummm? It takes a while. It usually takes a week before they really get comfortable. And yes they are like new born babies that is why we love them.
GIVE HER TIME.
Edit:
Do you really want a dog or a fashion accessory?
Edit #2:
Now that I've thought about it this must be a joke.
Answer:
Please return the puppy to the breeder. And next time please educate yourself on something for impulse buying.
Answer:
You do need to return her. What made you think a young puppy wouldn't do those things ? It takes more then 3 days to home train a puppy.
Answer:
I think you should return her. You’re clearly not ready for the challenges of taking care of a baby or anything else.
Answer:
Do the dog a favor and take it back.
Answer:
how old is she?
Answer:
Aww don't worry!!
You are having buyers anxiety! Do you want to give the puppy love? Do you want to care for a living thing? Remember the puppy will grow up and not look as adorable as a puppy but will still be cute and have personality too!! And she will be like a part of your family!
3 months ago, I had never had a pet and adopted a 2 year old Bichon. I was soooo upset and soooo worried that he might miss his old owners and he had a couple accidents. I thought what have I gotten myself into?? But I didn't give up and I love my doggie soooo much!!! He loves me too and cries when I’ve to leave him at home. I usually take him wherever I go if I have the ability to. I do not regret getting him!!
You’re just nervous because I think you have never had a dog before. Don't give up! You can do it!! You can train the puppy to go potty outside.
In the meantime, get gates and let your puppy only stay in one area. Make sure it's not too small. If you have an 8 x 10' room that’s good. Put newspaper all over the floor. Get puppy pads and put them in a corner. Put her sleeping area in another corner.
Take her outside to go potty: First thing in the Morning, Right after meals, Right after playing, and Just before bedtime.
Sometimes at first you might need to let her out each half an hour. Let her sleep in a crate. Dogs do not usually go potty where they sleep.
3 days is very little time. It is normal for her to cry and miss her littermates and her mother. Hopefully she was with them for at least 9 weeks and even better if she is 12 weeks old.
If you decide to keep her, you will see you’ll have less anxiety after having her for a while.
But, please, if you don’t intend to keep her for her whole life, give her back. Taking a life under your wing is never something that should be thought of as temporary. It is a long-term commitment. You need to promise yourself and never go back on your word that you’ll never give her up, unless you can find a loving home for her.
