How much would it be every month? The horse alone is probalay $1000-3000 or whatever..
so you think i should start saving or just forget it?
thanks!
Answer:
I'd say do some more research and spend all the time you can around horses and horse people. If you really want one it won’t matter the cost..that is unless you truly cannot afford it. before you purchase one you need to know all of the expenses that’ll incurr and how to take care of the horse. The only way to learn all of that’s through experience, horse camp, riding lessons, visiting with friends that have horses..etc. so you can learn what kind of horse you want as to what you want to do with it. (show, trail riding etc) maybe you can lease one for a while, then you'll know whether you truly want one or not.

Buying (or adopting) the horse is the cheap part. Sorry! But yes, begin saving and depending on how old you are, either work hard in school or else think about your curren career and whether or not it's enough income to support you and a horse. If it's not, then think about changing jobs or else getting an additional job.
Open a savings account and put as much money as you can into it My paychecks are deposited directly into my bank account and I set up an automatic transfer so that a certain amount from each paycheck goes right into my savings account without me ever having to see it (or feel the “ouch” of missing it!) It's a good sysem for me, so give it a try if you can.

It costs on average about 11,000 a year… that's just a generalization. Definately start saving, that's what i am doing. I'm glad your looking at the adoptable horses…. There are so many great horses looking for good homes that people overlook because they are looking for fancy show horses. ideal of luck to you… get a job and a savings account!!!! that's one of the first steps!

I did a research paper on this once, and if you want a horse the horse its self will cost between 100-100,000 dollars. Buying equipment can range from 100 to about 5,000, and monthly it would cost about 100- 900$ depending. If you want to be committed to it, and you must love horses, go for it!
Answer:
maybe u could try leasing one.
it is 1/2 the price
and u still get to do mostly everything u would with your own horse.
hope that helped=)good luck

If you want it bad enough, you'll save. And you can adopt rideable horses with no vices from rescue agencies for under $600.
