do i have to put on my indicator ? Do i have to overtake it on the outside or do i have to overtake it on the inside?might i have to ask for authorisation ? it can be any one of these or more than 1.

Answer:
do you mean how do you pass another rider? in an arena with both of you going the same direction you always pass on the inside. be sure to call out by saying “inside”. if you are going in opposite directions then you pass left shoulder to left shoulder (which still ends up being the inside).

Answer:
If you are passing in a normal fashion, pass to the inside, give plenty of room. All that's needed. If you are having a train wreck yourself, holler “Coming through!!” or “FORE!” or whatever gets the attention of the horse/rider in front of you, then pass wherever you can, safely if possible. Most riders are accustomed to others passing them to the inside, outside passing can be disconcerting without some advance warning….. Enough for them to prepare, not when you are right on their heels.

Answer:
As everyone else has indicated it is hard to comprehend what you’re trying to ask…if you’re on the road and coming up behind a horse and rider…if there is anyway at all to cross over the middle line and pass, do so. If not and there is on coming traffic, slow down and give the horse and rider a chance to get over where it is safe, sometimes it is very difficult for the horse to get more to the left…give them all the space they need even if you’ve to wait…never toot the horn, it could be disastrous. I hope this helps..

Answer:
I think you’ve all the possible answers here! Slow Down! Indicate! Pass wide or wait and then pass wide! Never Toot/Hoot your horn or shout before, during or after passing! A good rider will always acknowledge and thank a good driver by simply Waving a 'Thank You! Accelerate away slowly please!

Answer:
O IVE JUST GOT U! YOU MEAN IN A CAR!!!

WELL FIRST ***SLOW RIGHT DOWN***

DEPENDING ON HOW FAR OUT THE HORSE IS, PUT ON YOUR INDACATER IF IT IS A GROUP OF HORSES OR THE HORSE IS FAR OUT, DONT IF THE HORSE IS IN AT THE SIDE!

IF THE HORSE LOOKS NERVOUS DONT GET TO CLOSE OVERTAKE VERY FAR OUT!

OH ONE MORE THING IF YOU DONT MEAN IN A CAR SORRY! IM JUST A WEE BIT DUMB LOL!

Answer:
you probably mean when driving a automobile, right??? cuz you stated indicator. well, if that's so, you just give some space, and slow down a bit (not too much).

Answer:
First state your intent by saying loudly “Passing!”

Alway pass on the outside and give the horse on the rail plenty of space.

Answer:
dont fall off……it hurts

Answer:

Answer:

Answer:
