i have a indian flower horn..been with me for almost four yrs..i would like to know wat fishes can i keep along with her..since she’s very aggresive its almost impossible to keep other fishes with her..n she's lonely..pls help?..

Answer:
Flowerhorns are too aggressive to mix with other fish. Keep her alone, fish don't get lonely like we do, at least not highly territorial cichlids like the flowerhorn hybrid. Putting anything else in there will just be seen as a threat and a plaything to get mauled and killed.

Answer:
Place your hand in front of the tank they will swim and chase follow your hand movement

Or you can mix it with king parrot fish (ALMOST THE SAME AS NORMAL PARROT FISH BUT ITS SIZE CAN GROW AS BIG AS FLOWERHORN FISH) they will play together.

*Important select the same size as flowerhorn we don't want bullying happen in the tank.

Always have fun and enjoy the great moment with your fish as what i do because fish have feeling to.Hope my advice can help you and your fish.

Answer:
Is there a specific flowerhorn called Indian flowerhorn ? Strange, never heard this before…

As far as tank mates, your question has the answer, she’s aggressive (this is strange also, as females are generally not so aggressive, while you say “very”), so no tankmate would be able to hold ground for long..

Let her be..

Answer:
well firt off how bigs your tank? in mixing FH's (flowerhorns) with other fish i wouldn't start at anything smaller than a 125 and i just wouldn't keep any adult in less than a 75..

so without a tank size it's kinda hard to tell you what if anything you can get

Answer:
u should not mix the fh with other fishes…. i too own a female fh…. once i kept a sucker cat in her tank fr cleanin… the next day i found the sucker cat floating(it was dead) fhs r usually aggressive and territorial….i advocate not to mix other fishes wid fh…. keep her isolated!
