I went for an appointment this day, and I am 26w3d! I get an ultrasound at each appointment, they want to see the heart and hear the heart. Its not like a normal ultrasound though, where you get all the measurements and what not, its just a swift take a picture of the heart and one for mother and your done. Well today I had it done, and it gets done by a nurse, not an actual u/s tech, but anyway, she was looking for a picture of her face and she couldn't find her head! She said well maybe shes down here, and sure enough she was. She stated wow, how far along are you? And I told her, and she stated I didn't anticipate to see her down there yet. I asked if it was okay, and she said yes, but I wanted to see what anyone else thought about it. Just the way she was like ''WOW'' you know, got me wondering.

Sorry its long! Thanks for reading and answering! :)

Answer:
She probably just thought it was odd that your baby is down low in your plevis so soon. My baby “dropped” at about 29 weeks so its not all that uncommon….if this is your first baby like mine its pretty normal to have them drop before you go into labor. It's not really anything to worry about but your going to be pretty sore soon :( it literally feels like theres a watermelon in my pelvis now lol goodluck!

Answer:
An actual Tech. would tell you that even the last few weeks of pregnancy the baby dosen't actually stay “down” the baby is constanly moving.

The MA was just probably surprised.

Answer:
i think I would ask the doc, and not just take the nurses word
