bump right under her chin, there’s no hair on it, its about the 1/4 the size of a dime and its round and kinda pinkish. I thought it was a tick at first and when i touched it to see if it moved she hissed at me, so i assume it hurts her, because she never hisses at me. Should i be worried? What do you think it is? Shes an indoor cat, all her shots are up to date, shes fixed and shes 5 years old.
Answer:
It's probably feline acne. This is usual in older cats who aren't able to keep up their grooming. I’ve an 18 year old Maine Coon who just can't seem to keep himself groomed anymore. He started developing chin zits about a year ago. She needs a trip to the vet, though, to be sure.
Answer:
I suggest taking her to your vet and have it checked out to be sure. Could be a cyst or tumor but what ever it is the earlier you find out the superior. A tumor if that is what it is can be successfully removed if caught early but going now will make you both feel better.
Answer:
my cat had one of those and it was just a pimple..it was so gross i think she got bit by a bug or something and it got infected you should def try to see what it is, and if it keeps getting bigger than take her to the vet
Answer:
you should take her to the vet asap it could maybe be a tumor or something not to worry you but you should have it checked out soon.
Answer:
call the vet now
