However, she's also desperate to go outside. Is this normal/advisable? She usually goes out through the day/for the toilet etc, but has used her liter tray fort he last few days. I'm not sure if I should grant her to go out. Any advice??

Thanks xx

Answer:
My cat had kittens 4 weeks ago. I too was concerned the first time she showed signs of wanting to go out and leave her kittens. This was on about day 3. However, as she was used to being able to come and go as she pleased and did not use a litter tray anymore I decided to let her go and call her in after a short time. She only stayed out for about 15 minutes, and then came straight back to the kittens. Since then she goes out several times a day - probably to go to the toilet/stretch her legs - but she never leaves the kittens for very long and has been an astounding mum to them. I would let her out, and if she hasn't returned after 20 minutes or so - call her home and give her a treat when she comes in. Good Luck!!!

Answer:
She'll be fine. I had a feral cat that insisted on having her kittens inside and would go out when we noticed her by the door and each couple hours we'd call for her and let her in. Or we'd open the door and she'd be waiting.

Answer:
No, don't let her out, there may be a chance that she could get pregnant again, nursing cats can get pregnant anytime. Keep her inside, and please have her spayed afterwards.

Answer:
it's normal for mommy cats to go out sometimes especially when they need to. some cats would leave their kittens to take a break. when they hear their kittens mewing, they come rushing back.

Answer:
don't let her out because she might not come back or she may get killed out there. be kind to her and her kittens and keep her inside.

Answer:
she sould go outside it is fine just let her have about 15 min a day to be outside or awayfrom the kittens or she might tire from them

Answer:

Answer:
