My dog keeps trying to hump my cat, what do I do to make her leave my cat alone?

I'm getting exhausted of it, I find that I’ve to separate my dog so my cat can live in peace. If this doesn't stop soon, I think I'll have to get rid of my dog. :-/

Despite what the first answer said, it makes no difference if the dog is fixed. Animals still have the same desires just like humans.

So basically you’ve to teach the dog, through punishments, that humping is not allowed.

Yelling generally does not work but being sprayed with water will defer this action. As well as other things your dog, uniquely, does not like.

well, is your dog fixed? i know, it's something you probably don't want to think about it, but your dog wants some “special attention” if you know what i mean, and seeing as they’re both girls, and you want them to cease, fix them both or just punish the dog when she humps the cat.
