Alrighty. I’m 39 wks and 3 days this day, and I was just wondering if it is possible to feel the exact moment the baby “drops” or engages? (this is my second pregnancy). Earlier this day I just got hit with a random wave of nausea that lasted for about 5 minutes. I went to the lavatory. Since I left the loo I’ve had the worst pressure and pain down in my pelvic area, and pushing against my c-section scar. And the baby trully feels lower all of a sudden. Is it possible to actually feel the moment she dropped? And since this is my second pregnancy, does that mean labor is coming within hours? Because they say most of the time after your first baby you dont drop until right before labor. Thanks!

Answer:
I don't think it's a stupid question. I think it is possible. Sometimes my baby would feel so low I could hardly walk. However, sometimes the baby would move back up a tiny. Hard to state, but Im sure you are very close! and it does help labor if your baby's position is low!
