how do we get our 8 month old pup to cease biting…..we dont hit her at all by the way…..she listens good at everything else but wont listen when we say stop biting.Could she still be teething at 8 months? Yall know anygood tricks or recommendations? Can yall share with me? Thanks
Answer:
She could still be teething, but by 8 months, a rottie x lab is a large dog and you need to cease her from biting so that she doesn't injured anyone.
When she bites, leave the room for 10 seconds. Do not say anything to her or hit her, just leave. In your dog's eyes, you are something good and she wants to play with you because it is fun. When you leave, you’re using negative reinforcement or the removal of something positive. If you and everyone else your dog meets is consistent with this, it won't take long for your dog to realize that when she bites the person leaves, so if she stops biting the person stays and plays with her.
Good luck!

Answer:
Yes she is still teething she’ll not get her adult teeth (well the rest of them) until about a year so she ust needs hard teething toys to chew on or purchase her some rawhides so it will help her other teeth fall out so the others can grow.
Answer:
purchase some toys for her to chew on and see if that helps. and i would just flick her nose after she bites but not harshly and tell her no.
Answer:
say no and tap it on the nose
