I just found out that I could keep a kitten from my cats litter. And I changed my mind from a kitten to a different one that I’ve bonded with. And I was told I could change his name.

I am part Greek so I want to name him some thing Greek. I have the ability to handle an American name as well. I need to have five by tommarrow afternoon and two by tomarrow night or else his name stays as Spike. And I dont think he’s a Spike. I cant do Jason because my ideal friend who is like my older brother is in Iraq and his name is Jason. So any other names but that would be nice thanks.

There's lots of baby name and pet name sites that can give you lots names. Here's one - http://www.babynameworld.com/greek.asp

I think it's adorable, too, to use food names for pets. So you can look at a Greek cookbook or restaurant menu and come up some names. Baklava, Moussaka, Tzatziki (ohh that would be adorable!)

Also don't stress that your kitten doesn't have a name right away. There's no rule stating it has to have a name as soon as you get it. I've often gone several days or even a week or so till I settled on naming a cat. And since I've always taken my new pets to the vet right away to be checked out (as you should) I've often started out their file as “To be named” and then updated it the next time I went in. It's superior to wait and pick a name you REALLY love!

I hope your cat's getting spayed so she doesn't have anymore kittens. There's far too many put to death every single day at shelters to be adding to the problem - and you've already done so with this one litter.
