Do you think this is too old?

What’s the oldest that you would have a baby?

I havent read too much details about the woman myself but to me it seems quite selfish…opinions?

Answer:
I think she’s incredibly, incredibly, selfish……..insane. I'm soon to be 38 with my youngest of four children being seven years old. Needless to say, I'm very thankful to be done having kids :o)

And….I also think that some of the insanity/trend can be attributed to these older Hollywood Mom's in their late forties having their first set of twins via IVF and donor eggs. Twins seem to be the new black in Hollywood don't they?? I think they (along with this moronic 66 year old woman), give the impression that this is somehow “normal” and acceptable. It also doesn't paint an accurate picture of REAL fertility since the woman's body is designed to be DONE DONE having children in the 40's. And the very fact that this 66 year old woman was brought OUT of MENOPAUSE to get pregnant is ludicrous. There’s a reason nature shut her down in the first place!

But the reality is that those who choose to do so are only showing just how selfish they are by valuing their careers and the almighty dollar above all else. Me personally, I want to spend as many QUALITY years with my children as God will grant…….and I don't think the same can be said for those who put it off until these advanced ages. The question that keeps going through my mind with this woman is whether or not she even cares. I don't see how she possibly could if she has given even an *ounce* of thought to all the things she will be missing out on in her child's life. What a shame. JMHO

Answer:
I wouldn't have a kid past 30, just due to the increased risk, each decade adds on tons of risks, I do think 66 is too old, it's her prerogative but I imagine she will have a hard time at it, if not now but in 10 years, I understand there are younger mothers with health issues but definitely more prone to have larger issue with old age.

Answer:
Is it too old: NO. I think the human body is full of surprises.

35 is the oldest I would think about conceiving a child.

It is selfish. She is not thinking about how those kids will feel when they outlive her. Lets hope she lives to be at least 85 years old so that when she dies they’ll be old enough to support themselves.

Answer:
I wouldn't! lol.. closing my baby factory at 30.. I've always liked to be a young mother (but I'm not young anymore.. 3yrs to 30!)

I would wanna see my children get a partner (people getting settled down later and later.. =X), marry, move into their home, help them do up the house (even painting, like what my dad did for me before he got his stroke (and he's only 54)), see my grandkids (if possible)…etc Frankly, I think her chances of witnessing all these are zero to none.. =X

P/S : I read that it wasn't “natural” for the lady.. She had an IVF.. I think it's just WRONG.. but wat's done is done right?

Answer:
I also think it's quite selfish. By the time her child graduates from high school she’ll be 84! IT's also very hazardous for her to have a child. The oldest I would have a baby is 45..but that's pushing it for me.

Answer:
Yeah, Who wouldnt want to be 80 years old and have an obnoxious teenager!

Answer:
i dont want a baby past 35 but thats just me
