I don't think I'll be buying her or anything, but I was wondering because it looks like a really nice horse, it's SUPER close to us, and it seems pretty awesome in dressage, which is what I need. Is it worth the price?

I was also wondering if she's worth getting. I mean, I'm 4'7 and I weigh 71 pounds, will I be to large for her? She's 14.2 hh, and if I'm not to large for her yet, how long will I be able to ride her without being to massive for her?

Thanks in advance!

Answer:
I think that the horse is not impressive enough to be that costly! The horse I am getting is a blood bay Hanoverian, he jumps 5.3 ft, His temperament is a four, he is 8 years old, he knows tons of tricks, he has gotten 5 blue ribbons, he’s at level 2 Dressage, and he’s priced at 20,000! The horse I’m getting is more impressive and less expensive! If this horse where priced at 15,000 it would be a bargain (but 25,000?) if this were my horse I would sell her for no more then 18,000! I think that for the most part she looks very impressive but they should lower the price a couple thousands! She looks very beautiful though and she also looks like she will go very far in Jumping and Dressage! I would try to speak the price down as low as you can get it, because 25,000 is ridiculous! I would go and try her out, see if you’ve the money to spend! I think that she’s an awesome horse, if you could atleast get her to 22,000 that would be better! I think if you have the money to spend on her go and get her, but if not I would keep looking! Also You wouldn’t be massive for her at all I think that your hieght and wieght compliments hers perfectly! I hope that you will find the perfect horse to be your ideal friend, and riding partner!

Answer:
Its a reasonable price but not for someone at your level. and she has great form over jumps. Her conformation is beautiful. She is gorgeous and she looks like she would be a great horse. But you need to make sure you're experienced enough because she’s kinda spirited. I don't think advanced newbie is experienced enough to pay 25k for her. If you were more advanced it would be different. But i'm intermediate - advanced and my horse is breathtaking. awesome temperament and everything. he’s kinda spirited but in a good way. we payed 15k and i wouldn't even THINK about paying much more than that. Cuz horses don't get much better than my boy.

Answer:
That is a really nice horse, and you'll won't be too big for her til after you have kids unless you get fat, but how experienced are you?
I wouldn't spend that money if I was a newbie unless you have a good trainer or something since the horse is still training and will take a lot of work.

Answer:
She's really beautiful and seems to have great potential but OMG $25,000 USD? There are so many great horses that are looking for homes that won't put you back that much. I would keep looking and find a nice lesson pony that has great potential but doesn't cost so much … even if money is no object, keep looking a tiny bit. At that price that pony will still be for sale if you look for a little bit and then return to her.

Answer:
25k…I'm at a loss for words.

So much money…

Well, if you have 25k to purchase a horse, go for it. She's very nice, and you probably won't out grow her for a while.
One problem, by the time you do out grow her, you probably won't be able to get 25k back out of her because she will be a bit older.
Good luck.

Answer:
Your for sure not too large for her.
I ride on my friends pony once ina while whose 13.2 and Im 13 and 5'6.
I also have a 35 inch Shetland pony X Mini that I ride a lot too. And he seems to be just fine - ponies are hardy. =]
If you have that kinda money then go for it.
But I dont think they’re gonna get that for her with this economy.
Shes adorable though (=

Answer:
The price is…..wow.
I don't think ANY horse should be priced that high no matter how well trained they’re.
That's ridiculous.
But, if you’ve that kind of money, then you should get her.
She seems like a great horse.

Answer:
No horse is worth that much, pricing her that high is looking for trouble, i mean, who would buy for that much?

Not worth THAT much

Answer:
Super close to me too, im trying to think if i know this person name sound familiar. Very pretty but costly, you might out grow this one.

Answer:
I totally concur with Ema. She said everything =D

Answer:
Looks like a very good horse.I'm 5'2 and my mare is 14.2 and I haven't out grown her.

Answer:
shes impressive, but there's nothing THAT impressive about her… 25 k is insane.

Answer:
She is a nice looking horse, go try her out.

Answer:
You are not to big for her now. The time limit on when you will out grow her depends on you. I am 5'7 and 115 I run barrels on a mare that’s 14.2. They’re speaking about she has out grown the limits that this mare is abel to ccompeteat. This girl is ready to move up to a taller horse that she has the ability to jump higher ffences So is it takes you 6 months to get to the bigger ffencesor 6 years then that is when you will out grow this mare. If you’re iinterestedin what this mare has to offer you then she would be a good purchase. If you are beyond what her limits are then you would be wasting you money. I hope that this has ancerd you questions. Good luck in all that you do. turn and burn

Answer:
firstly i think the price of the horse is pretty baseline. It seems to be experienced and trained enough and actually (depending on how it goes in real life, which i can't really tell from photos) might be under priced. I know there are some people on here that think 25k for a horse is a lot of money, but the reality is, when you get further into the horse world and competitive horse showing, 25k is actually cheap-ish.

As for you fitting the horse i would say that your not too big for her yet. Considering that i don't know your actual age, and judging by your height and weight i presume that you are young, maybe 12 or 13? I stayed on my 14.2 pony in till i was 13, and i think i was about 5'5'' at the time (i honestly can't remember, but i was way too big for her) so you might get 2-3 years out of her hopefully.

The other thing i noticed was that the add said that the pony was not for the beginner rider. Usually this tends to mean that the horse is a tiny fast, or hot headed, which sometimes can scare unexperienced riders. However you say that you’re a newbie intermediate so you might be able to handle her, as long as your comfortable with a horse that can go pretty fast.

But you can never tell if something is worth the price unless you try her out. If its right for you then its worth it. You won't regret it.

Good Luck.

Answer:
You definitely won't be too large for her but might outgrow her - I ride a horse who's 14.2 hh (not regularly or anything but just for my friend) and I'm 5'7″ and weigh a heck of a lot more than 71 pounds! However I'm right on the tipping point for that horse and wouldn't purchase her myself because of my size. The horse looks really nice - I don't have that kind of money otherwise she'd be MINE!!! (joking).
I'd go out and see her and find out if you think she's worth the price. Also a lot of horses who event (not all of course) are a tiny hot-headed and although you're riding this paint you should really go and try her and make sure you can handle her.
If she doesn't have a lot of championships under her belt she's not worth that price, by the way. That's a lot of money.

Answer:
I think she would be a good size for you. I like small horses. I’m just under 5'7. One of my horses is about 13.2 and I admit I’m a bit tall for him but he’s so much fun to ride. If your parents are willing to spend the money then the next question is do you do the type of riding this horse is trained for? Next, can you train her for something else if you want? What’s her disposition like? If you are going to pay that much, what’s her background and do you intend to breed her? Is she available for lease? All these questions need to be answered before you ask your parents to spend that kind of money. Last, and this goes for any horse of any price, are you experienced enough to handle this horse?

She is a lovely looking horse in the photos. You are the ideal judge of how ready you are to ride her. Your parents having the money is the luck of the draw.

Happy Trails
