This application i'm going be filling out when i'm 16 for the SPCA- volunteer.

It says - Cat grooming/Socializing. what does that mean?

Thanks!

Answer:
I would say it means you get to groom the cats and spend time with them so they’re used to human presence and touch. they have the ability to be adopted out better if they’re OK with humans. A lot of cats that go to shelters are wild or semi- wild and they can't be adopted out until they are socialized. If you get the job, be kind and patience they’ve been in the wild and just need some TLC. Don't get frustrated if they don't respond right away, it generally takes a few weeks. Good luck

Answer:
cat grooming usually consists of nail trimming, brushing them, and bathing if neccessary (but that depends on the cat). and socializing is basically wellness care of the cat like getting the cat familiar to being around people, playing with them, showing care and love for the animal .

Answer:
Call them and asked. I volunteered but it was a kill shelter and I couldn't take it more then likely they want you to bond with the cats and clean litter boxes, and some cats could use the attention.

Answer:
Grooming: Brushing, washing, etc.

Socializing: Getting them used to humans, various environments and noises and other animals.

Answer:
It means that you’ll groom, brush, pet and play with the cats, get them used to humans and such! Good luck!

Answer:
you’ll need to know how to groom a cat properly and be able to socialize properly with the animals… or maybe people?!?

sz i couldn't b of much help.
