Whats the easiest way to get over a death from a pet?

See my dog Midnight died the day before yesterday.I t was a bizarre thing he wasn't sick anticipate for that morning and when I seen him more weaker I called the vet and by the time the vet called em back he passed.I love and miss him so much, he was so cute my tiny black chihuahua who was only 1yr and 9 months old.
