I'm only 14 weeks pregnant and NONE of my jeans fit. I mean I could struggle and button them if I wanted to but I can definitely tell I got larger. My stomach hangs over my pants because I'm pretty bloated and I've gained 7 pounds. Not that that's a big deal, but argh I'm done looking at the scale. Is it normal to be getting wider this early?

First of all congrats!! It can be upsetting gaining weight but my husband always tells me that its baby fat, lol! I was in the same situation as you and its not much fun!! I always think of the result in the end. Its very normal to gain weight and widen this early, I always look at it as I rather see progress on my baby growing then nothing at all. If your a very little person then there show a lot faster. Each person is different and body reacts different!! Go get some adorable mat clothes! They’re comfortable and don't stick to the spots you don't want them to!! Care about it while it lasts!!

yes, it is normal. If you like jeans, take your jeans, make a slit down the seam on the sides, sew in a couple of stretching material to alleviate some of the discomfort and the hang over and you may be able to keep these jeans for at least another month without having to buy the actually comfortable maternity clothes. I was able to actually breathe in maternity clothes. It is inevitable that maternity clothes are on the horizon! Good Luck!

We found out we were pregnant a few weeks before we got married. So on the large day I was 10wks and squeeeeeezed into my dress, wks later @ 12 weeks I was in maternity clothes on the way back from my honeymoon. Just make sure you’re taking your vitamins and eating right so you know it is healthy weight you are gaining.

Absolutely. I couldn't fit in my clothes at 2 months with my first pregnancy and even sooner than that with my second. Find yourself some cute comfortable dresses (I live in them cause it's so hot) or nice maternity pants and tops. I like oldnavy.com. They have some adorable stuff. Depends on the person. My two sisters both had completely normal and good health babies. My youngest sister gained a lot of weight fast and never stopped gaining. She put on 60 pounds. My oldest sister gained 15 the whole time she was pregnant. But good luck with yours I am sure no matter how much you gain you’ll love them and the experience.

Every pregnancy is different, but you should invest in maternity clothes because it sounds like you are going to have a chubby baby. In one of my babyshower games it took 12 squares of tissue to go around my belly, envision that. =) Congradulations!!

Well that is half way through your pregnancy. That is 4-5 months. Depending on the person. Some people do not get more massive until the end and some do at the beginning. It is normal. Just purchase some maternity jeans.

Yeah it is. I've heard a lot of people state their pants get snug as soon as 6-8 weeks. And women start showing more after 12 weeks.
