Brown Discharge. What can you tell me about it?
Why and When does it usually happen? Is it a sign of anything? (I mean…I've had it before. Plenty of times. But now that I'm ttc every tiny thing makes me question ya know?)
Further Cycle info:
I have irregular cycles.
I’ve an underactive thyroid that i'm being treated for.
Dec cycle was 40 days.
I started taking my temp on day 13 of cycle (today is day 31) and my temp never did spike. I had a little bit of cervical mucus on day 27 and 28 and be bd on day 23, 26, and 28. So I have no clue if or when I ovulated. Probably day 28 but that's so late! And then for the past 3 days (days 29-31) I've had a good bit of brown discharge every time i've gone to the water closet (sorry tmi).
Any ideas as to what this is or could mean or am I just reading something into nothing?

Brown discharge is typically “old blood” and the vagina's way of self-cleaning. You typically get it before and/or after periods, during ovulation, or if you have an infection. You can also get brown discharge random times throughout your cycle for no apparent reason. Ovulating on cycle day 28 is late but hopefully it will straighten itself out. I ovulate on cycle day 22ish and i'm also hoping it straightens out and if not, i get to see my gynecologist in june for infertility. I think the brown discharge you're having now is due to your upcoming period. Good luck.
