If you don't know of a reason that you would be physically unable to bear children, then you can assume you’re fine and start trying.
I went to my Dr and she said since I am in good health, to go ahead and start trying anytime I want and if after a while nothing happens then to go back and see her.

As far as tests: You can ask your OB-GYN for a blood test that flags genetic markers for hereditary disorders. He/She will ask you for a family health history.

If you’ve been going to the same Dr regularly for your annual and semi-annual check-ups, they would already be acquainted with your health status. If not, then find a Dr you like and get your check-up.

If you want a test that you can purchase, start with Ovulation tests available at any pharmacy and drug store. They tell you when you’re fertile and to start trying to conceive.

GOOD LUCK!
