My mom only shaves below her knees so the hair on top is soft and fine, i want to get rid of all the hair but I'm worried i might regret it later. I dont want to use nair because the chemicals burnt my moms legs so they would probably burn mine too. Heres my questions!

If I shave my whole legs can i wax them later and get the hair back to being soft?

should i use lotion on my underarm and down there after i shave so it doesnt get all dry and those stupid bumps dont appear?

Should i clean my legs with soap before i shave so they’re clean or after so it washes all the cram away?

If I clean with soap after i shave will it somehow damage the pores?

Is there anything I have the ability to do to make the tiny red bumps go away faster?

is it weird that I don't shave my arms? I have friends who do and online all the girls state that its really bad too and not to because it messes stuff up, but all the guys state that hairy arms are weird…

Any other advice?

My mother only shaves below her knees also… she doesnt have as much hair as i do though… I dont use nair because it has never worked for me..

Yes you can shave your legs and then later wax them but you will have to let the hair grow back out

you can use lotion after you shave and before… sometimes i use lotion to shave you just have to really clean out your razor when your done or it will get all cloged up…

If you’ve a problem getting razor burn and ingrown hairs down south i would say that before you shave you should take a hot bath to open your pores and soften the skin so it isnt as harsh

again i would shave while in the shower its fast and you can get everything done and clean at once

for the bumps i use burts bees ResQ ontment…

I shave my arms and let them grow back amd everything is fine… My mom always told me that my hair would grow back black :) but it never did its still VERY blonde

It is also not true that once you shave the hair grows back thicker.. it just feels that way at first once it grows back to its normal length it will be the same as before

well i shave my legs from top to bottom and i have no problems, no u wont regret it, there’s no point waxin if u have shaved because there will b no hair to wax off and, well it wont do u any harm using lotion on parts of body after shavin what ever makes u comfertable, most women use body moisteriser on there body after havin a bath, well i always use soap whilst shavin legs because it makes your legs soft so u dont cut urself as much, then also u can wash wid soap after if it makes u feel better, no it wont damage pores, well if ur doing a dry shave that can cause the tiny bumps its better off being wet legs or underarms because it makes it easier and less painfull too. u dont shave ur arms anyway i dont shave my arms i shave under arm but not my arms thats a very bad idea as then the hair will grow bk quick and go very prickly and get more hair please do not shave ur arms u will regret . them ppl r rite its bad idea, so wot lads r weird there hairer than us lol egnore lads there just weird hope this has helped.

Answer:
DONT SHAVE YOUR ARMS! I did. And it was just to much up keep. Plus I went from blond to black arm hair. And it sucks. I’ve to either have to dye it or something. It sucks.

as for red bumps. It depends where you get them.

If you get them down there. Shave in a downward motion first. Folowed by shorter upward motions to finish It off. As for your leggs. Down first. Wait a few hours. Jump back inthe shower and shave slowley upwards. It totals works. You can shave above your knees. And it will take a few months after stopping of almost always wearing pants and string in the sun to getthsm softer again. sorry I can't help anymore. But I really hope that what I stated would help!
